ouch

Well, well, well, buckle up folks, because the last few weeks have been a wild ride! It all started on a lovely Sunday morning, or so I thought, until I found myself being whisked away in an ambulance. Picture this: I’m feeling like a walking disaster – dizzy, chest pains, and shivering like I’ve just seen a ghost. Talk about a grand entrance to the hospital!

After a series of tests that would make Sherlock Holmes proud, the verdict was… drumroll… suspected vertigo! Yes, folks, I’m the proud owner of a condition that makes me feel like I’m auditioning for a role in “The Spin Cycle: The Movie”. But wait, it gets better! Not only did I get the vertigo, but I also won the grand prize of having a nurse show up twice a day for five days to administer meds. Who needs a vacation when you have a personal nurse on call, am I right?

As if that wasn’t enough chaos for one person, my dear cousin and her husband decided to turn my home into a B&B during this whole ordeal. Bless their hearts, they meant well, but having a nurse playing the maracas with my meds while they sipped mimosas in the living room wasn’t exactly what I had in mind for my hospitality debut. Oh, the joys of family “bonding” time!

But fear not, my dear readers, for every storm cloud has a silver lining. While I may have been spinning like a malfunctioning top, the sun decided to throw a party in the sky, with temperatures hitting the mid-twenties. Ah, the sweet irony of life – when the world is spinning, at least the weather is stable!

So, here I am, navigating the hilarity of vertigo, nurse visits, and unexpected house guests, all while trying to keep my balance in this comedy of errors. Stay tuned for more tales of wobbling through life, because when chaos reigns, laughter is the best medicine.

Til next time, keep laughing through the spins!
